Recession Busting Brown Bin Offer - Thinking about ordering a brown bin?  Order now and get FREE collections up to the end of March 2010!    However, the offer is available only to Broadland residents new to the garden waste collection service, and applies to all those who join between 1 December 2009 and 15 March 2010.  This means that for the period April 2010 to March 2011 all you would have to pay is £39.  Interested?  Contact BDC direct on 01603 430534 or to to www.broadland.gov.uk/gardenwaste

Grants from Recycling Income - did you know that the Town Council uses the income from recycling glass and paper via the bring banks at the Bure Valley Railway site as a "charity fund" to help local charities and community organisations.  If this would be of interest to your organisation, here are the guidelines to help you make an application.  All applications should be addressed to the Town Clerk at the Town Council office (full address on the Home page) for consideration by the Council.

Forthcoming Events  - the Council has agreed that all forthcoming town events can be publicised on this website - both as a means of letting everyone know what is coming up and also to possibly avoid clashes of dates!!  Keep an eye on the Events Calendar when you are planning!! If you would like your event details published, please send full information to the Town Clerk at townclerk@aylsham-tc.gov.uk  If you click on one of the events you can see the kind of information that is required.  Once the event makes its way to the top of the calendar list it will appear on the Home page - even easier for people to see!
